What I value in people: relationships that go both ways. People who give back, because I give a lot. People who actually listen, because my ears are always open. People who can be straight with you without anybody getting offended, and lord knows I'll bring the truth. The kind of person who'd drop anything for you, because you've done it for them.
What I'll always overspend on: DJ gear. It's a worthy investment, it's also exactly why I'm broke. Good for you, bad for me. lol
Bonding over music has always has been my favorite way of getting to know people
My love language: talking nightlife. Club nights, event concepts, why one room goes off and the one next door doesn't, what makes a DJ great instead of just good. Get me started and we'll be there a while.

Hey! I'm Henry, Here's a little about me. And hopefully, at some point, I'll get to know you!
Where the GQ came from: When I first started, I used to go by Henry G-Wiz. I know. Truly awful, lol. A bartender I worked with, who I ended up dating, told me to drop it and start going by GQ instead, because I was always turning up overdressed like the magazine. It stuck.
What I'm weirdly competitive about: everything. Competition makes me better, pushes me to do more, and is quietly the worst thing that's ever happened to my bank account.
Life goal: own a nightclub one day. I've spent enough years in other people's rooms to know exactly what I'd do differently. The sound, the layout, the way a night gets programmed instead of just opening the doors and hoping. And how you treat the staff and the regulars, because they're the ones who make a room feel like somewhere you belong.
Typical Sunday: catching up on sleep, or out on the river, or trying to talk myself into a drive up to the Smokies. If none of that happens, I'm finding some friends to grab a beer with, watch football, and eat a bunch of wings. Be my friend?
Best travel experience: Punta Cana. Beaches, daytime parties, and nights that go as long as you want them to. The best one was the trip my brothers came on. No kids, no spouses, nobody else's schedule. Just brothers. A few outrageous days I still think about.

Best night I ever played: a block party back home. Streets closed off in every direction, thousands of people, and I'm the only DJ they ever had headline one. Playing to a crowd like that, outside, in a place you grew up? Nothing touches it.
